University of Manchester Graduate with a passion for the events industry and consumer technology.

Steve leads commercial & marketing operations, working on onboarding new partners and telling the world about TickX.

Sam Coley​

Co-Founder and CTO

Passionate about both technology and business having founded a successful software development company aged 16.

Sam is a highly experienced developer with a keen focus on user experience. He leads the direction and development of the TickX platform as it expands internationally.

Laurence Marlor


Co-founder & CMO of Rentalcars.com from 2004 to 2013 which exited to Booking.com’s owner Booking Holdings.

During his time there, Laurence grew Rentalcars.com to one of the world’s leading car rental retailers, available in 41 languages & 6,000 locations worldwide.

He is now an experienced Non-Executive Director and advises some of the worlds largest consumer-facing brands in the travel industry.

Keith Malcouronne

Chief Financial Officer

Board-level Director and Chartered Accountant with wide-ranging commercial and trustee experience.

Entrepreneur with four businesses started / acquired in past fifteen years and three sold. Active Business Angel and Private Equity investor and advisor.

Tim Chambers​

Ticketing Expert

Experienced international ticketing specialist and senior executive with over 20 years experience within Live Entertainment.

After founding and managing TicketWeb (UK) following its acquisition, he spent 10 years at Ticketmaster culminating as VP European Development before moving to Live Nation as SVP of International Development.

George Mills

Board Member

George joined BGF Ventures in March 2017 prior to which he was on the investment team at Arts Alliance Ventures, and was a co-founder at Growth Street.

He is a CFA charterholder, Kauffman Foundation Global Scholar, and holds an MEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bristol.

Ian Gray

Board Member

Ian is a former Partner of Candover, prior to which he was a Managing Director at the Bank of Scotland. His investment experience spans multiple industry sectors.
